further out of town there is also a Go-Kart track and bowling alley with
nightclub. This town is increasingly popular with UK expats because of it’s
proximity to Coimbra (only 20 minutes along a scenic road) and therefore easy
accessibility to the airports at Porto (1hr by train from Coimbra) and Lisbon
(2hrs) Coimbra also has a wide range of shops, restaurants, shopping malls and
cinemas, there is also the famous University, football stadium and a large
hospital.
